With 199+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, bull sharks, dolphins, dugongs and great white sharks - Centurion offers some of Sydney & New South Wales's richest diving. Water ranges 18-23°C, warmest January, February, March.
The Centurion wreck lies off Sydney, a substantial tugboat sunk as an artificial reef. We often find schools of yellowtail scad circling the intact wheelhouse, and wobbegongs are usually tucked into the internal spaces. It's a solid dive for those comfortable with deeper wrecks and keen to explore the local history, typically with moderate current.
