Boka Bartol - Klein Bonaire

Boka Bartol, over on Klein Bonaire, is one of those sites we always try to make time for, especially if we’re looking for a relaxed drift. It’s got that classic Bonaire slope, starting shallow and gradually deepening, but what we really love here is the sheer health of the reef. We’ve spotted some truly impressive colonies of Mustard Hill Coral and massive Starlet Coral, just humming with fish activity. This isn’t a high-octane dive, but it’s fantastic for really observing the smaller stuff. Keep an eye out for Puffcheek Blennies peeking from crevices, and we’ve had good luck finding Chain Morays here too, tucked away. The schools of Bluestriped and French Grunts can be thick, creating a shimmering wall of silver. If you’re into macro or just want to cruise and soak it all in, Boka Bartol hits the spot. It’s an ideal second dive of the day, when you’re not chasing big pelagics but want a genuinely pretty reef experience.
