Carel's Vision - Klein Bonaire

Carel's Vision on Klein Bonaire is exactly the kind of dive we keep coming back for. It’s got that classic Bonaire vibe: a gentle slope, plenty of light, and just enough current to keep things interesting without making you work too hard. We love drifting along the reef, watching the Midnight Parrotfish chomp away at the coral, leaving their tell-tale white scars behind. Keep an eye out for the Orangespotted Filefish, they’re often hanging around the Blushing Star Coral, their colours really pop against the reef. What makes this spot a standout for us is the sheer number of smaller, often overlooked creatures. We’ve spent whole dives just watching the little Hamlets darting in and out of the crevices, or spotting a Mottled Conger Moray peeking out from its hidey-hole. It’s a great site for photographers who enjoy macro and wide-angle alike, especially in the morning when the light really paints the reef. You’ll find it’s a calm, easy dive, perfect for unwinding after a day of heavier current spots, or just enjoying a long, slow drift.
