Front Porch - Klein Bonaire

Front Porch is one of those Klein Bonaire sites we return to again and again. It’s got a consistent character, a gentle slope, and a surprisingly dense population of reef fish, especially in the shallows. Drop in and you're immediately greeted by the friendly chaos of bluestriped grunts and doctorfish, often swirling around the mooring line as if expecting you. What we love about Front Porch is how approachable it feels, yet it still delivers on interesting finds. Keep your eyes peeled for dusky blennies peeking from coral crevices and the unmistakable flash of an angelfish cruising past. We've spent many an hour here just drifting, watching the parrotfish graze, and admiring the robust great star coral formations. It's an ideal spot for a long, relaxed dive, perfect for photographers or anyone who just wants to soak up the Bonairean reef vibe without fighting a current. Our favourite time to dive Front Porch is mid-morning, just after the initial boat rush, when the light is good and the reef critters are fully awake.
