Nukove - Klein Bonaire

Nukove, tucked away on the leeward side of Klein Bonaire, is one of those sites we always recommend for a relaxed afternoon drift. The currents here are usually gentle, easing you along the reef at a comfortable pace. What we love most is the sheer density of fish life, especially the schools of bluestriped grunts and spot snappers that hang out in the overhangs. You’ll find some seriously impressive lettuce coral formations too, particularly in the shallower sections. Keep an eye out for the smaller stuff, the dwarf planaxis snails are everywhere if you slow down and look closely. It’s an ideal spot for macro enthusiasts who also appreciate a healthy, colourful reef.
