Pink Beach - Klein Bonaire

Pink Beach on Klein Bonaire isn’t about dramatic drop-offs or swim-throughs. For us, it’s a dive for slowing down, for really looking. The reef here, a gentle slope, starts shallow and just keeps going, a perfect spot for divers who appreciate the smaller things, or for anyone doing a safety stop that feels too short. We love the sandy patches between the coral heads, where you’ll often find juvenile green turtles grazing on the turtlegrass. Keep an eye out for the bigtooth cardinalfish, often tucked into crevices, their eyes reflecting your torch light. It’s also a fantastic place for blennies, especially the dusky and spinyhead varieties, bobbing their heads from their coral homes. The visibility is usually excellent, so take your time to spot the cherub pygmy angelfish flitting around the coral. We’d suggest going early in the morning; the light is softer, and the reef feels quieter, making those blenny sightings even more special. This is a dive for peace, not punch.
