Salt City - Klein Bonaire

Salt City always feels like a secret, even though it’s right there on Klein Bonaire. We love the drift here, gently pulling you along a wall that just drops into the deep blue. It’s not about huge pelagics, it’s about the details, the smaller stories playing out in the reef. Look closely for the Hourglass Basslets darting in and out of the corals, or a Pearl Blenny peeking from its hole. We’ve had incredible luck spotting Green Turtles munching on the turtlegrass in the shallower sections towards the end of the dive, and the Massive Starlet Coral formations are some of our favourite on the island. This is a site for divers who appreciate a relaxed pace and aren't afraid to slow down and observe. The currents are usually mild, making it a perfect spot for photographers or anyone who just wants to soak it all in. We often find the visibility just a touch better here too, maybe it’s the way the reef is positioned.
