Weber's Joy - Klein Bonaire

Weber’s Joy on Klein Bonaire feels like diving a well-tended garden, rather than just a reef. We love the gradual slope here; it’s perfect for just drifting along and soaking it all in. You’ll find some seriously impressive coral structures, especially the big boulder brain corals and the yellow pencil coral formations. Keep an eye out for the spinyhead blennies poking their heads out, they’re always a good laugh. We’ve had some fantastic encounters here. One time, a curious loggerhead turtle swam right alongside us for a good ten minutes, totally unbothered. Another dive, we spotted a pair of orbicular batfish gliding past, those things are just so graceful. The schools of French grunt often gather in big shimmering clouds, and it’s always fun to watch them. This site is brilliant for a slow, relaxed dive, especially if you’re into macro life and just want to enjoy the reef's subtle beauty. It’s a gentle introduction to Bonaire's outer reefs, great for less experienced divers or anyone just wanting a chill afternoon in the water.
