The dive Academy - Sosua & Puerto Plata
The Dive Academy site in Sosua is a good spot for a relaxed shallow dive. You’re looking at a sandy bottom with scattered coral patches, home to plenty of smaller stuff. We’ve spotted yellowline gobies peeking out, and the occasional hogfish rooting around. Keep an eye out for manatee grass, a common grazing ground for turtles, though we haven't seen any here personally. It’s an easy dive, good for getting back in the water or for newer divers.
