Brown Trousers - Kadavu & Great Astrolabe Reef

Brown Trousers is a pretty laid-back spot in Kadavu, ideal for newer divers or those just wanting a relaxed afternoon. The reef here is mostly hard corals, lots of brain and plate formations, and you’ll often find groups of juvenile reef fish sheltering amongst them. We’ve had some lovely drift dives here, just cruising along at around 15 metres, watching angelfish and parrotfish graze. It’s not going to blow your mind with pelagics, but it’s a genuinely pleasant dive, easy on the air, and a good place to just soak in the reef.
