Coral Awegasm - Kadavu & Great Astrolabe Reef

Coral Awegasm, in Kadavu, is a gentle spot that’s perfect for getting your bearings, especially if you’re fresh off the boat. At just 17 meters deep, it's an easy drift over a sloping reef, letting you really soak in the smaller details. We’ve had some great encounters here with curious juvenile reef sharks cruising past, plus the usual suspects like anemonefish guarding their homes. The site is super relaxed, so it’s a good one for newer divers to build confidence, or for photographers who want time to compose a shot without battling a ripping current.
