With 382+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, eagle rays, giant moray eels, humpback whales and sperm whales - Kuata Beach offers some of Kadavu & Great Astrolabe Reef's richest diving.
Kuata Beach is a nice little spot, especially if you're just getting your fins wet. It's only 11 meters deep, so plenty of bottom time to really get comfortable. You'll likely see a fair amount of smaller reef fish darting between the corals – we often spot damselfish, clownfish tucked into anemones, and sometimes a few parrotfish munching away. It's a relaxed, easy dive, perfect for beginners or just a chilled-out afternoon dip.
