With 382+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, eagle rays, giant moray eels, humpback whales and sperm whales - Moya Reef offers some of Kadavu & Great Astrolabe Reef's richest reef diving.
Moya Reef is a gentle introduction to Kadavu's underwater scene. At just 12 metres deep, it's a calm spot, perfect for getting back into the swing of things or for newer divers. We've seen plenty of smaller reef fish here, parrotfish grazing the corals and anemonefish darting amongst their tentacles. It’s not a drift dive, just a relaxed explore, making it ideal for a long bottom time, perhaps even a second dive.
