Nabaibai Passage - Kadavu & Great Astrolabe Reef

Drifting through Nabaibai Passage is a gentle way to experience the reef’s pulse. The current here is usually mild, just enough to carry you along without much effort, making it ideal for newer divers getting comfortable with drift diving. Keep an eye on the channel walls; we often spot white-tip reef sharks cruising in the deeper sections and large schools of snapper hovering in the calmer pockets. It’s a good spot to relax, go with the flow, and just soak in the reef’s daily rhythm, peaking at a comfortable 18 metres.
