Why dive here
With 382+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, eagle rays, giant moray eels, humpback whales and sperm whales - Namualevu Wall offers some of Kadavu & Great Astrolabe Reef's richest wall diving.
Namualevu Wall makes for a nice, easy dive in Kadavu, particularly if you’re looking for a relaxed afternoon. The wall itself doesn’t drop to epic depths, topping out at 19 metres, making it very approachable for newer divers or those who just want to take their time. We’ve drifted along, keeping an eye out for nudibranchs tucked into the crevices and the occasional reef shark cruising by a little deeper than we were. It’s a solid spot for a second or third dive of the day, with usually gentle currents that let you really soak it all in.
