Purple Reef - Kadavu & Great Astrolabe Reef

Purple Reef is a gentle introduction to Kadavu's underwater world, a site we often suggest for newer divers or as a relaxed first dive. At its modest 18-meter depth, you'll find plenty of soft corals swaying gently, primarily those beautiful purplish hues that give the reef its name. Look closely and you'll spot resident clownfish darting amongst their anemones, and we've often seen graceful eagle rays cruising by in the deeper blue. It’s a pleasant, easy dive, perfect for getting comfortable and simply enjoying the scenery without any major challenges.
