Scott’s Reef - Kadavu & Great Astrolabe Reef

Scott’s Reef is a solid choice for a laid-back dive, especially if you’re new to the Astrolabe or just prefer shallower profiles. Dropping down to 17m, it’s a calm spot where we’ve often spent a relaxed hour watching schools of goatfish grubbing in the sand, while anemonefish guard their homes. The currents here are usually pretty gentle, making it a comfortable experience for beginners or anyone looking for an easy drift. We find it’s a good one for practicing buoyancy or getting those wider shots with your camera.
