STELLA MARIS - Kadavu & Great Astrolabe Reef

The *Stella Maris* sits in a shallow 18 metres, a relatively intact wreck that’s been down since 1973. We like it for a relaxed dive, especially when the conditions are calm, making for an easy exploration of the wheelhouse and cargo holds. Schools of small reef fish like fusiliers and snappers often hover above the wreck, and you’ll spot nudibranchs and flatworms making their homes on the hull, a real testament to how quickly things change once something sinks. It’s a good choice for newer wreck divers or those looking for a couple of easy, longer bottom-time dives.
