With 382+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, eagle rays, giant moray eels, humpback whales and sperm whales - Stepping Stones offers some of Kadavu & Great Astrolabe Reef's richest diving.
Stepping Stones is a gentle introduction to Kadavu’s reef system, a really good spot for newer divers getting their fins wet. The site caps out at a comfortable 17 metres, mostly a sandy bottom dotted with robust coral bommies that feel like little islands in a shallow sea. We've seen plenty of reef sharks cruising through here, often whitetips, along with the usual cast of parrotfish and angelfish nosing around the coral heads. It’s an easy, relaxed dive, perfect for building confidence or shaking off the travel rust.
