Taylor’s Cross - Kadavu & Great Astrolabe Reef

Taylor’s Cross is a good spot to get your fins wet on the Great Astrolabe. It’s a shallow dive, maxing out at 21m, which makes it an easy drift for beginners looking to relax into the rhythm of the reef. We’ve found the currents here are usually pretty gentle, carrying you past some healthy hard coral formations. Keep an eye out for a parade of parrotfish munching away, and sometimes a few reef sharks cruise by in the blue. It’s not an adrenaline rush, but a pleasant introduction to Kadavu’s underwater world.
