Village Reef - Kadavu & Great Astrolabe Reef

Village Reef, near the Kadavu mainland, is a lovely, easy dive. We often take newer divers here, or just head out for a relaxed second tank. It’s mostly hard coral, quite healthy, with a lot of those electric-blue surgeonfish darting in and out. Keep an eye out for nudibranchs on the shallower bommies; we’ve spotted some pretty colourful ones over the years. With no real current to speak of, it’s a calm introduction to Fijian diving.
