Vunavadra Nursery - Kadavu & Great Astrolabe Reef

Sometimes you just want an easy, chill dive, and Vunavadra Nursery delivers. It’s a shallow spot, never going beyond 10 meters, making it ideal for anyone new to diving or just wanting to take it slow. We usually find it’s packed with juvenile reef fish darting between the soft corals and branching acropora, like a kindergarten class gone wild. Look closely in the gaps and you’ll often spot a tiny moray or a shy juvenile cuttlefish tucked away. It's a great place to practice buoyancy without the pressure of depth or currents.
