Wahu Wall - Kadavu & Great Astrolabe Reef

Wahu Wall sits on the outer edge of Kadavu's fringing reef, offering a gentle introduction to wall diving. It's not a dramatic drop into the abyss, more a gradual slope that bottoms out around 20 metres, making it ideal for newer divers wanting to get comfortable with the sensation of drifting alongside a vertical reef face. We've often found small whitetip reef sharks resting on ledges here, tucked away from the mild current. Keep an eye out for nudibranchs on the sponges and the occasional eagle ray gliding past in the blue. It’s a solid choice for a relaxing afternoon dive, especially if you’re looking to practice buoyancy control without fighting a strong current.
