The team at Hurawalhi Prodivers in Baa Atoll really impressed us. They’re a well-oiled machine, exactly what you want when you’re diving in the Maldives. We especially love their dedication to the house reef. It’s a proper stunner, just off the jetty, and they lead regular guided dives there. You get all the convenience of a shore entry with the kind of corals and fish usually reserved for boat trips. One of our favourite things to do with them is an early morning house reef dive. The light is soft, and you’ll often spot reef sharks still cruising shallow, before the day boats even think about firing up their engines. For anyone keen on manta rays, Baa Atoll is famous for a reason. Hurawalhi Prodivers know the local spots inside out, especially during manta season from May to November. They’re good at timing their trips to avoid the peak crowds, which is a big plus at some of the more popular sites like Hanifaru Bay. You’ll be PADI certified here, and they run a smooth operation. We’d suggest booking your boat dives in advance, especially for those special manta excursions, as spots can fill up quickly.
