With 95+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, sea turtles, spinner dolphins and whale sharks - Bat reef offers some of North Malé Atoll's richest reef diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest April, May, July.
Bat Reef in North Malé Atoll offers a relaxed drift over a sloping coral reef. We've often seen smaller reef sharks cruising the edge and plenty of colourful schooling fish. It’s generally a gentle current, making it a good spot for newer divers looking for an easy, pleasant dive with solid reef action. Look for the occasional turtle munching on the corals here.
