Bodu Thila - North Malé Atoll

Bodu Thila is a nice relaxed drift in North Malé, good for getting your bearings in Maldivian currents. The thila itself isn't huge, but it's got some lovely coral formations that are slowly recovering. We've often spotted white-tip reef sharks cruising the deeper edges and schools of fusiliers hanging out mid-water. It’s a solid choice for beginners looking to experience a gentle drift without getting too overwhelmed.
