Thulhagiri Housereef - North Malé Atoll

Thulhagiri Housereef is a solid spot for easing into Maldivian diving, or just shaking off the travel rust. The reef plate here generally sits around 18 metres, making it nice and relaxed for beginners or those getting their buoyancy dialled in. We often see reef sharks cruising the perimeter and the occasional turtle munching on corals. It’s not going to blow your mind with massive pelagics, but it's reliably good for a gentle drift alongside parrotfish and the usual cast of colourful reef dwellers. We’d suggest an early morning dive before the day boats arrive.
