With 98+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, sea turtles, spinner dolphins and whale sharks - Kandholhudhoo Thila offers some of Rasdhoo Atoll's richest pinnacle diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest April, May, July.
Kandholhudhoo Thila is a gentle pinnacle dive, a good spot to ease into the Maldivian current experience without feeling overwhelmed. At 23 meters, it’s a comfortable depth for newer divers, though we still keep an eye on our air. We often find schools of fusiliers circling the top, and sometimes a few reef sharks cruise by in the blue. It’s not the most dramatic site in Rasdhoo, but it’s a reliable, pleasant dive, a perfect morning warm-up.
