Vommuli Dive Centre - South Ari Atoll
The team at Vommuli Dive Centre? They’re the kind of divers you want to be out with. Professional, yes, but also just genuinely good company. We love that they focus on personalized experiences, often keeping groups small, which makes a huge difference when you’re navigating some of South Ari’s busier spots or waiting patiently for that whale shark to cruise by. Our favourite thing about diving with them is their deep knowledge of the local currents and migration patterns. They really do put you in the right place at the right time. We’ve had incredible encounters around Maamigili Beyru, drifting past sleeping reef sharks and spotting guitar rays tucked into the sand, thanks to their timing. They’re PADI 5 Star, so expect solid courses from beginner Discover Scuba Dives up through Rescue Diver, all delivered with a relaxed, confidence-building approach. If you’re looking for a dive centre that feels less like a factory and more like a club of passionate divers, Vommuli is an excellent pick. They’re perfect for divers who appreciate attention to detail and a friendly, knowledgeable crew.
