Filitheyo Thila - South Ari Atoll
Filitheyo Thila is a decent little pinnacle, a good option if you’re diving the South Ari. It drops to about 28 metres, so it’s one for the intermediate divers, especially if the current picks up a bit. We’ve found it can be pretty active here, with grey reef sharks often patrolling the edges and schools of fusiliers swirling above the coral blocks. Look into the overhangs for sleeping nurse sharks and the occasional stingray. It’s not an all-day spectacle, but it’s a solid dive for a relaxed afternoon.
