Cocoa Corner - South Malé Atoll

We love a good drift, and Cocoa Corner usually delivers. The current can really pick up here, pulling you along a reef wall that drops pretty deep. Keep an eye out for the smaller stuff hugging the coral, particularly the pygmygobies – the Redlined, Large-eye, and Emery’s are often present if you slow down enough. It’s a site for those who enjoy a speedy ride and aren't afraid of a bit of a workout against the flow if you want to hang back and scrutinize the Wrinkle and Galaxea corals.
