Dong Giri - South Malé Atoll

Dong Giri is a solid pinnacle dive in South Malé. We've often found ourselves circling its slopes, keeping an eye out for the smaller stuff – like the Palespot Eviota and those tiny Redlined Pygmygobies. It's a site that rewards a slow pace, letting you really peer into the coral heads, which include some nice patches of Galaxea and Larger star coral. While it might not have the big pelagic draws of some other Maldivian spots, it’s a good choice for divers who appreciate macro life and a relaxed drift, often with gentle currents.
