Dongmaas Giri - South Malé Atoll

Dongmaas Giri is a small pinnacle in South Malé Atoll, a site we’ve often used as a relaxed second dive. While it might not blow your hair back with huge pelagics, we consistently find some interesting macro here, especially those tiny pygmygobies like the Large-eye and Redlined varieties, if you've got a sharp eye and a good guide. Look for them nestled amongst the Lesser and Larger Star corals, or the unique Wrinkle coral formations. It's a mellow dive, good for photographers or when you just want to take it easy and appreciate the smaller stuff.
