With 100+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, sea turtles, spinner dolphins and whale sharks - Exit 5 + 6 offers some of South Malé Atoll's richest channel diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest April, May, July.
Exit 5 + 6, in the South Malé Atoll, often delivers a solid drift dive. We've seen blacktip reef sharks cruise the channel edge here, and if you’re lucky, a whale shark might even pass through the blue. It’s a good spot for divers comfortable with a bit of current and keen to tick off some larger pelagics.
