With 100+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, sea turtles, spinner dolphins and whale sharks - Jumako Thila offers some of South Malé Atoll's richest pinnacle diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest April, May, July.
Jumako Thila is a nice, straightforward pinnacle dive in South Malé Atoll. It’s a shallower spot, topping out at 22 metres, which makes it a good fit for newer divers getting comfortable with Maldivian reef diving. We've often found small whitetip reef sharks resting under the coral overhangs here, and there’s usually a good show of fusiliers swirling around the top of the thila. It's not a site that will blow your mind, but it’s consistently pleasant and a solid choice for a relaxing afternoon dive.
