With 100+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, sea turtles, spinner dolphins and whale sharks - Kandooma Thila offers some of South Malé Atoll's richest pinnacle diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest April, May, July.
Kandooma Thila is a classic Maldivian pinnacle dive in South Malé. We often see grey reef sharks patrolling the edges and eagle rays gliding overhead, especially on the incoming current. It’s a site for drift dives, best suited for those comfortable with some flow and ready to enjoy the ride. Expect schools of snappers and fusiliers congregating around the coral blocks.
