With 100+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, sea turtles, spinner dolphins and whale sharks - Kani Corner offers some of South Malé Atoll's richest diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest April, May, July.
Kani Corner usually brings a good drift, so it's one for those who enjoy a bit of current. We often see reef sharks patrolling the drop-off and eagle rays gliding past in the blue. Keep an eye on the sand patches for garden eels and the occasional whitetip reef shark resting. It’s a solid intermediate dive, best enjoyed with some experience in drift diving.
