With 100+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, sea turtles, spinner dolphins and whale sharks - Kani Faru offers some of South Malé Atoll's richest reef diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest April, May, July.
Kani Faru, in South Malé Atoll, is a nice, relaxed spot. Dropping to a gentle 21 metres, it's a comfortable drift along a pretty coral reef. We often find ourselves just floating along, watching the smaller reef fish go about their day, with the occasional turtle gliding past. It's an easy-going dive, perfect if you're just starting out or simply want a mellow afternoon under the water.
