    Ran Thila is a good, solid pinnacle dive in South Malé Atoll, perfect if you’re looking for a relaxed experience. The top of the thila is around 12m and drops to 22m, making it ideal for beginners or anyone wanting a longer bottom time without deep decompression limits. You’ll drift gently around the pinnacle, spotting plenty of reef fish like fusiliers and snappers, and we often see white-tip reef sharks cruising in the blue. Keep an eye on the overhangs for sleeping nurse sharks and the occasional stingray tucked away. It's a comfortable dive, not too challenging, and a nice way to spend an hour underwater.
