Canal Trazar

Canal Trazar, just off Flic en Flac, is a site we genuinely enjoy, especially when you’re looking for something a bit more relaxed. It's not a dramatic drop, but rather a gentle reef slope that gives way to patches of sand, bottoming out around 22 metres. We love the way the light plays on the sand sections, contrasting with the coral, where you'll find schools of parrotfish, particularly the dusky-capped variety, grazing lazily. Keep an eye out for the smaller stuff here. While the four-saddle grouper might catch your eye, we often find ourselves searching the coral for nudibranchs – they’re definitely present if you're patient enough to look. The visibility, averaging 16 metres, means you get decent views without being overwhelmed by distance. It’s a great spot for a relaxed dive, perfect for photographers wanting to slow down, or anyone who appreciates the quieter moments beneath the surface. Expect to spend your dive exploring the coral heads and the sandy fringes, spotting wrasse and emperor fish.
