Euro-Divers - Club Med Albion - Flic en Flac & West Coast
The team at Euro-Divers - Club Med Albion are exactly who you want to dive with on Mauritius’s west coast. They’ve really got the knack for making everything feel relaxed, whether you're knocking out an Open Water cert or just jumping on the boat for a couple of fun dives. We love how they cater to families, too; it’s a big part of the Club Med vibe, so if you’re traveling with non-divers or younger kids, this place just works. Our favourite dives with them often head out towards The Cathedral, a site that lives up to its name with shafts of light cutting through cavernous swim-throughs, illuminating schools of snapper. Keep an eye out for leaf fish tucked into the coral, they’re masters of disguise. Another good shout is the Tug II wreck, sitting at about 25 metres. It’s not a huge wreck, but it's draped in soft corals, and you’ll usually find moray eels peering out from its nooks. The currents here can sometimes pick up, especially further out, so listen to the dive brief. They’re PADI 5 Star, so expect professional, well-organised trips. Dive in the morning if you can, the visibility tends to be better before the afternoon winds stir things up.
