With 269+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, blue whales, dolphins, dwarf minke whales and great white sharks - GB Reef offers some of Cape Town & Western Cape's richest reef diving. Water ranges 14-16°C, warmest February, March, April.
GB Reef sits off Cape Town, offering a dive that’s usually a relaxed drift. Down to about 20 metres, you'll find a rocky reef system with plenty of kelp, home to shy cat sharks tucked into crevices and smaller schooling fish. It's a solid, easy dive, perfect for getting a feel for the local conditions or for divers who appreciate a calm, unhurried exploration. We often pick it when we want to just unwind underwater.
