Giant's Castle - Cape Town & Western Cape
Giant's Castle lives up to its name, a colossal granite formation rising from the seafloor, offering divers a maze of swim-throughs and gullies between 10 and 25 meters. We've often found ourselves exploring its nooks and crannies, spotting everything from shy reef sharks tucked into crevices to schools of hottentot darting around the kelp fringes. The site generally suits those comfortable with moderate surge, as the Atlantic can occasionally make its presence felt here. It’s a good spot to just drift and watch the rock shapes unfold.
