Livingstone Reef - Cape Town & Western Cape

Livingstone Reef is one of those local Cape Town dives that often gets overlooked for the flashier wrecks. It’s a rocky reef, mostly kelp-filled, with the usual suspects like shy sharks and the occasional octopus tucked into crevices. We’ve found it’s a decent enough spot for a relaxed second dive or when the south-easterly wind is blowing hard elsewhere, offering some shelter. Visibility can be a bit hit or miss, as it is with many False Bay sites, but it’s a solid option for shaking off the rust.
