Midway Ridge offers a straightforward dive, popular for its dependable kelp forests. You'll often find shy pyjama sharks tucked away and the occasional broadnose sevengill cow shark cruising past. It’s a good spot for newer divers looking to get comfortable with Cape Town's conditions, or for photographers wanting a relaxed opportunity to focus on macro subjects within the kelp. Visibility here can vary quite a bit, so check local reports before heading out.
