Spaniard Rock - Cape Town & Western Cape

Spaniard Rock sits off the coast near Simon's Town, a solid choice when the south-easterly wind keeps other sites bumpy. We often find playful Cape fur seals here, especially on the shallower parts of the rock. The site itself is a series of granite boulders, dropping to around 15 metres, usually with decent visibility. It’s a good spot for a relaxed dive, suitable for newer divers looking for some interaction with the local wildlife without much current to worry about.
