SS Bia - Cape Town & Western Cape
The SS Bia is one of those wrecks that just feels *right* for a dive. Lying broken at 15-30 metres, she’s well-colonised by the local Cape Town marine life, making for a fascinating mix of history and biology. We’ve seen octopuses tucked into her crevices, shy cat sharks resting on the sand nearby, and plenty of colourful nudibranchs crawling over the metalwork. You can spend a good portion of a dive exploring her fragmented holds and superstructure, often with decent visibility when the south-easterly breezes die down. It’s a solid pick for wreck enthusiasts with a bit of experience.
