With 269+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, blue whales, dolphins, dwarf minke whales and great white sharks - Star walls offers some of Cape Town & Western Cape's richest wall diving. Water ranges 14-16°C, warmest February, March, April.
Star Walls, tucked along the Cape Peninsula, offers a decent wall dive. You'll drop onto a rocky face, home to plenty of basket stars and colourful nudibranchs clinging to the overhangs. Visibility can be a bit variable, but on a good day, it’s a solid spot for macro enthusiasts looking for smaller critters rather than big pelagics. It’s a straightforward dive, good for intermediate divers.
