With 558+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blacktip reef sharks, blue sharks, blue-spotted stingrays and bull sharks - Kevs Ledge offers some of Sodwana Bay's richest diving. Water ranges 23-28°C, warmest January, February, March.
Kevs Ledge sits at 23m, a good intermediate dive in Sodwana. It's an often overlooked spot, but we’ve had some cracking dives here, finding honeycomb morays tucked into the overhangs and sometimes a passing ragged-tooth shark. The ledge itself isn't huge, more of a shelf, but it’s a reliable spot for smaller reef fish and sometimes a grumpy stonefish. We’d suggest it for divers looking for a quieter dive away from the busier spots.
