Why dive here
With 312+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blue-spotted stingrays, dolphins, eagle rays and hammerhead sharks - Haunted Wall offers some of Zanzibar & Pemba's richest wall diving. Water ranges 26-30°C, warmest February, March, April.
The Haunted Wall offers a gentle drift along a sheer drop-off, a decent option for intermediate divers. You'll find a nice density of reef fish here, particularly groups of fusiliers and snapper hanging off the wall. It’s not a showstopper, but it provides a solid afternoon dive, especially if you're looking for a relaxed current. We’d suggest it for divers who enjoy a cruisy wall dive.
